I recently did a CAR-15 build with mostly Brownells parts. With the A-1 upper and I opted for a chrome lined ,1 in7 twist pencil barrel instead of the 1 /12. It shoots great. My first AR was a used Olympic Arms Carbine from the 80"s. Great programs ,Chris🪖

10:00 If you put a Daniel upper against a Geissele URGI or superduty upper, there's no good reason for Daniel to be charging the prices they do. Yeah, they build a quality weapon, but as far as I know there's no new innovation. Whereas with the Geissele you get the same CHF/CL and hand lapped barrel, massive tech improvements to the bolt, the super42 braided spring, bomb prood gas block. Etc.

6.8 spc necked down to a 6mm... some call it 6spc is one wicked mofo! 16" barrel 3500 fps with 55 grain 16" barrel with 90gr is pushing 2800 fps 🎉🎉

6spc huh. I'm going to have to check that out. I'm looking for a caliber I can use with an AR lower that packs more of a punch. I like 300 BO supers but you're still limited on range. I like 6.8spc and 6.5 grendel but the Grendel but the ammo is not cost effective. The .277 fury shows real promise but we're going to need more options than just the Sig offering.
