Tim Minchin seems in awe of Paul, and who can blame him !! ……Macca is probably just a ‘rock music dinosaur’ to some young folk, but he must be the ULTMATE rockstar dinosaur because it was he and three other Liverpudlians who inspired so many impressionable teenagers to take up an instrument, to sing and to perform, and of course to compose. Interesting also to hear Tim praise Paul’s lyric writing because TM is an exceptional songwriter himself. And it was so refreshing to hear many different questions to the usual boring ones I’ve heard ad nauseam before. Much of Paul’s success is surely due to his easy-going diplomacy (taught to him by his father), his humour and his genuine respect for his fan base…..Ringo is also a really down-to-earth character who is brilliant in interviews with his charming wit. In fact, the VERY BEST interview I’ve ever seen with any of The Beatles is this 51 minute on-stage interview (kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKXNcqJpq5l5n9U) with Dave Stewart which is fascinating because the questions are from one muso to another muso, and Ringo’s recollections and funny inside stories are compelling for anyone who is an ardent fan of the Fabbers !!

Ölsk Zeri Anything you could call evidence to indicate that Paul McCartney died and was replaced (a premise alone ridiculous enough to dismiss outright) was sought after with the intention of proving the conclusion, which is literally the antithesis of logic. You can use the same method to validate literally any claim one could possibly make. I could claim that Bob Dylan is a Russian spy directly linked to the Kennedy assassination, and it would be at least as easy to prove as the Paul is dead theories. Start with a conclusion and seek evidence to confirm it, and you can convince yourself of anything.

My mom's innocent crush and mine talking about so many things which we both loved (She was a professional musician (amazing drummer!!!) and I inherited no talent from her but the love). She has been gone for five years but I can hear the conversation in my mind that we would have regarding this interview. Brilliant and makes me smile.

The Beatles did double-speed guitar on Getting better. The opening guitar is sped up. So Kanye was a very late comer to doing that. Paul is being modest saying that they didn't do it. Across the Universe was sped up and slowed down for different versions. And Strawberry Fields was famously sped varied to make the two different takes join up properly. John just told George Martin to make it work. So Paul and the Beatles basically gave kanye and others kind of 'permission' to do all this stuff.

Thank fuck Paul has stopped dying his hair. Now he looks like the true elder statesman of rock that he is.
@victorvactor67877 жыл бұрын
He's still dying it. He's white haired really.

He definitely does not wear a wig.

I'm always amazed how people like you care about such stupid details, damn! ... who cares ??!
@neilsun25217 жыл бұрын
His natural hair colour is sandy blonde / ginger. He used to dye it in the 60s from Sept 66 onward.

I think his natural hair color is dark brown.

I thought his voice was actually sounding better in a recent live performance. Hopefully those singing lessons are paying off!

Paul comes across as quite a nice guy, and a great singer and songwriter! he has brown highlights in his hair, but has been gray or graying from the late 70's

I love all of Paul's interviews, but not a fan of the people who interview him and stumble awkwardly through their interview.

None of the Beatles were fat.

Yes it's pretty unattractive when you see a grown man who looks pregnant... unattractive to see even just a gut.. usually caused by eating a lot of sugar. For a brief time I was getting one it was back when I was eating a lot of sugar in cakes and cookies. Stop eating all that stuff and you will see a big difference.. oddly enough I need a lot of bread and potatoes and even pasta but my stomach is totally flat...but I don't drink beer and I think that gives people of gut and no flab on the hips or the thighs either.

Paul McCartney is a living legend; one of the few who can wear the title and have it truly fit.However, his singing voice has finally betrayed him and as difficult as it may be for so many of us to admit this fact we really must come to grips with the reality that any performances by "Sir Paul" given in the recent past and from this point forward are little more than exercises in desperation

He's really like that with everyone. I know him reasonably well from when he lived in London - and there's no pretence. Nice guy.
