I so appreciate your wisdom and encouragement in Orthodoxy. This faith is so new to Americans! I am 68 years old, was a Protestant all my life, and was baptized into the Coptic Orthodox Faith in November of 2023. I love the liturgy and the encouragement that I receive from this church, and I regularly look forward to your videos. May God richly blessed you. ❤

Fr. Anthony, I always find you extremely gracious and wise during these Q&A sessions; those who attend your parish are blessed to have you as their priest. I value your counsel regarding how to focus during prayer, and I appreciate your response to the question of dealing with Christians who are in different traditions and denominations instead of focusing on those who do not believe at all or who have not been baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Thank you for your continuing work.

Thank you for your ministry Father. As a convert to Coptic Orthodoxy (from Protestantism) I struggle with viewing Protestants, Roman Catholics, and Eastern Orthodox as simply all belonging to the same Church, yet divided over "differences" which can be considered important but ultimately minor. This seems to downplay the gravity of the topic. Our own liturgy and prayers teach us that St. Dioscorus defended the faith against the "heretics", not merely against those with a difference of opinion (notice how that side-steps the issue of truth entirely?) I fear we've bought into the idea that to label a group as heretical or schismatic is tantamount to being unChrist-like and unloving. This would make St. Cyril unloving for his writings against Nestorius. God forbid. I hope we can continue in the tradition of our fathers, loving ALL people as Christ commands while speaking the truth about the deposit of faith that we've maintained, by God's grace. Please pray for me, a sinner.

God bless you dear... I believe our belief and ways are the same and will never change. However, cultures change so the way to communicate the truth must be adapted without ever compromising the Truth.
