Both speakers were very involved with the Keiko Project - the effort to return Keiko to Iceland to the ocean waters where he was captured at the age of two.

I actually got to see Kieko in Newport Oregon which I was very happy that he had Freedom for 5 years made it all the way to Norway but his pod was from Iceland. But the people of Norway loved him and paid respects to him when he passed away they buried him but he had his freedom.
