Yes 🙌🏽 you’re right she did lose her voice teacher during Covid and her adopted father as well. She’s continued to work on her divine high notes. A wonderful reaction! I’ve watched you for years as well as Diana. I too have listened to her almost daily for th last five years. Her voice is something that is so difficult to explain but I feel that she’s singing with the angels present. I would love a reaction to one of her newer songs “Romeo and Juliette “. I’m heading for 70 and generally don’t care for rap here in the US but this is something that I truly love and never tire of hearing. У Кристи получился очень живой, очень эмоциональный эфир - и речь в нём шла не столько об этой песне, сколько о Диане Анкудиновой, как явлении незаурядном и уникальном. Самое существенное для меня она сказала в начале, ещё до прослушивания песни - пытаясь коротко определить, какие ощущения у неё вызывает голос Дианы Анкудиновой. Она это сказала вскользь, не развивая свою мысль - а мысль была правильная; попробую её продолжить. Одно из главных впечатлений от этого голоса - он всегда вызывает сильную эмоциональную реакцию. Не уникальная окраска тембра, не низкая тесситура, не диапазон, не мощь - а именно это: эмоциональная реакция. Причём независимо от того, с какой интонацией и с какой интенсивностью она поёт. Сам этот тёмный, тёплый, мягкий, густой звук как будто изначально содержит в себе что-то глубокое и значительное, что-то важное для вас. Он заставляет обратить на себя внимание; в нём уже от природы есть какое-то врождённое благородство, какая-то истинность и достоверность. Разумеется, это сильнее всего ощущается в драматичных и глубоких песнях - подобно той, что мы только что услышали. Но этот эмоциональный отклик и это ощущение достоверности, значительности присутствует и в сравнительно лёгких её песнях - если только она использует свой природный, не модифицированный тембр и свои естественные интонации, не подстраивая голос под современное модное звучание. Эта новая песня звучит совсем не модно и не слишком современно - не сомневаюсь, что это было точное и хорошо продуманное решение автора песни. Традиционная, характерная скорее для академической музыки аранжировка и инструментовка делает эту песню как бы вневременной, выводит её за рамки сиюминутности. Очень сильное высказывание об очень сильном чувстве, выраженное максимально сложной вокальной работой, с максимально возможной самоотдачей. Абсолютно убедительно и эмоционально, и музыкально. Красота музыки, красота голоса, идеальный баланс между вокалом и аранжировкой. Диана Анкудинова выходит на новый уровень - и это обещает нам много интригующего и захватывающего впереди. Но мне кажется, что на новый уровень выходит и Брэндон Стоун; не думаю, что в огромном каталоге написанных им песен есть ещё хотя бы одна с такой сложной, мощной, разнообразной, эмоционально столь впечатляющей вокальной работой... Абсолютно с Вами согласен, Михаил. На мой взгляд - это пока лучшее творение Брендона, по крайней мере из того, что слушал я. Дружище! Почему бы Вам самому не создать канал и не реагировать на Диану и других российских вокалистов. С Вашими познаниями, эрудицией, грамотной речью и, страшно сказать, толерантностью, я думаю от подписчиков, по крайней мере в российском сегменте, отбоя не будет. Я не знаю до какого возраста изменяется голос, но Диана ещё растёт и голос может трансформироваться в самых разных окрасках очень вкусно и удивительно! Специалисты говорят в среднем у женщин певиц от 25 до 30 но это с учётом постоянных занятий. Ведь голосовые связки это всего-лишь мышцы, а мышцы надо тренировать и нагружать чтобы они были в тонусе, это можно сравнить с активным спортом😊

Hi Christi! Missed the live reaction this morning, because I couldn't quite be on at the time, but am joining in with the cheers and accolades for the amazing progress Diana showed and the whoa upper register she found, controls, and is doing so amazingly with. I don't know what that top note was, but it was stratospheric, let alone for someone with Diana's lower natural tone. Wow! BTW, am all for having a nice little discussion of voice, emotion, communication, physiology, connection and all that jazz. Lovely reaction, and loved seeing everyone from all over our little blue marble, joining together to appreciate loveliness, talent, and the humanity of music. Love it! Love to you from NYC.

The note was a D6 which is huge even for sopranos and this will not be her limit, she scaled up there, sustained that note for 4 seconds and it was straight crystal clear no vibrato at all, this shows that she can and will go higher than that she is only 20 years old after all.

I am glad to see you back on Diana, she has evolved again from the last time you heard from her, she experimented a lot with new sounds and she created many new masterpieces. She made video clips, she participated in the masked singer show, she wrote her own music and she traveled all over Russia with her concerts. If you want to see some of her video clips i suggest "with a clean slate", "Winter without snow", "Polyusko Polye". If you want to see her Masked singer masterpieces then you should watch "California dreamin'", "I will win you back", "Sweet dreams", "Fly away on wings of wind"(She sings Opera on this one i highly suggest that you see this). If you want to check her own music then "revelation" is a must. I hope we see you again with a Diana reaction soon.

One of my favorites by her is from the "Show Mask Go On" entitled "Oh' It's Not Yet Evening" kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZe3moShf9d_n5I. It's an over 300 year old folk song about a Cossack warrior who dreams of his death in an imminent battle. On Diana's face you see sadness, anxiety and pain of the soul of the Cossack warrior. One would swear she borrowed that soul to perform the song. I'm not sure how many people appreciate the emotional gasps she produces here that absolutely melt me.
