Star Platinum didn't bring back Joseph it was Dio's blood stop mixing it up. Vampire blood can bring people back but a stand no way, Star Platinum just helped pump the heart the blood did most of the work.

Minor spoiler I don't believe that theory. Like we can later see that case in episode 38 in part 4, when an individual is near death, the soul may leave, but still has a chance to come back if the body is repaired. Even Vanilla Ice probably wasn't dead. Even without any blood, the human brain can still survive for a few minutes I think. Besides, it's pretty common in media for characters that are almost dying to have an out of body experience and choose to come back.

Aicha you are wrong, Dio's blood did not bring Joseph back because he would be a vampire now. They filtered Josephs own blood out of Dio's and gave it back to him, and then Star Platinum gave him CPR.

I just thought about this, but Aqua Necklace isn't just a musical reference. He probably named it that because he used it to save himself from being hanged. How? By making it a water collar around his neck and the noose. Water Collar=Aqua Necklace. If that's true, that's actually great because it makes sense in-universe, it's a reasonable explanation of why did a Stand User decide to name a Stand the way they did. In SC they are mostly named after tarot cards and egyptian gods, so no problem there. In DiU they are usually an explanation of what they are or who their user is (Echoes, The Hand, Bad Company, The Lock, Harvest, Cinderella, Achtung Baby, Ratt, Stray Cat, Enigma, Boy II Man, Killer Queen, Love Deluxe, Atom Heart Father)

@Adrian the Vulture, as we can see in the future with Okuyasu and Bucciarati, there is sometimes some time after the soul leaves when it can come back if it has a strong desire for life. This is so in the case of Joseph, Okuyasu (we see how he has a choice) and Bucciarati (he himself describes that he was given a chance to return from the dead and we even see his soul returning to the body), but Josuke's grandfather was apparently already ready to accept his death. The existence of ghosts also confirms this, apparently, this is similar phenomenon, but which happened without the restoration of the body by something from the outside. Maybe this is also further explained in the manga, I don't know

The reason it looks different is because during this part in the manga the art style changed mid way and was in the same style as part 3 but then changed to this and has been pretty much like this for the rest of the series changing slightly each part.

It's not super jarring though, since DP was already transitioning into the new style throughout parts 1-3, while still keeping the nuiances of the original style. It's VERY jarring in Manga where you go essentially from Part 1 style to Part 5 style in the space of 2 chapters.
