Some of these guys don't appreciate Oda's ability to step away from traditional anime/manga tropes. Instead of the the usual "power-up" a lot of anime characters get from sadness, anger, or despair, Oda is able to embody Luffy's goofy ass personality into a level-up that makes everyone laugh (while still being strong af). It's why the series still stays as the number one best selling manga 👑.
