Beautfiul playing Brandan, nice to hear some Tarrega how it's supposed to be played after my attempts! Have been enjoying watching your video lessons for other people too, some much musicality... might go and torture my guitar later today! 🤣

1:41 Reminds me of that "Frog uh Went uh Courtin'" diddy that cowboy mouse was pickin' for Tom and Jerry. Every time there was a "TWAanng," Jerry lost a whisker.

Please, @timmercier... Don't diminish Brandon's Skills, Hard Work & Passion by attributing them to Super-Natural entities of any type.

...how much of the 'warmth' produced by your gut/nylon-strung modern guitar (the orientations of the tuning drums & -keys are my give-away) comes from the shaping & open sound hole of the body -- and how much from the materials of which the strings are made? I heard only the slightest 'squeaks' from the E, A & D strings -- meaning they are metal-wound nylon

I love your interpretation of capricho árabe, I got into classical guitar after hearing you play that song on the 275k guitar video, maybe is a streach but i would love to hear you play that song on an absolute beginner guitar i think it would make an awesome comparison video!!

Thank you Dani! Yes I have played many concerts without nails and have many recordings here on KZbin without them. I'm using nails in this video though. I hope you're well! Brandon

Thinking about going the nailless route when I finish my doctorate… I play so much bass and electric guitar, but I still love the classical guitar, especially early music. Might reach out to you about some nice period instruments. The old lattice braces Lissarague doesn’t do that music justice like your axes!

Please forgive me if I'm mistaken. Was that a grimace at 4:30? You looked at the guitar as if it moved its fret on you. ;) In any event thanks for all the coaching (by example) you have done in several videos about handling pressure and mistakes. Oh, did you eat your banana? 😉

Many thanks, Brandon, for your prompt response. I make, (and professionally play), my own lutes and guitars in England. A delightful recital. The nails sound good on the baroque guitar....they give it almost a harpsichord clarity and attack. Congratulations!@@brandonacker
