Glad you survived your recent trip to Los Angeles. I live in LA. We are all experiencing record breaking heat. Should you come again, remember that museums and galleries are closed on Mondays, I know, it's a bummer. Porto's is a great place, I live near one of the restaurant stores. It's owner, the founder passed away very recently. Agree Disneyland is too expensive as are most theme parks out this way. Hopefully your next trip out the weather will be more favorable.

I grew up in a bakery family……loved working there to,get all the goodies…. So I am a true bakery snob now and totally get your happiness with the bakery in LA! I well try any bakery I find but when I find an exceptional one it’s a true keeper…love your enthusiasm because I certainly can share it!

As a kid in the 70’s we had “ smog alerts “ when the air quality was so bad you can’t play outside. If you go back I recommend going to Northern California and visit the redwood forests

has nothing to do with SSS - tracking is all up to the postal carriers. The tracking number assigned to the package I copy and paste into my country postal system and can usually track it once it's in their system.

I was able to go to a Blick store last year for the first time in Tampa and I was actually quite disappointed. Their prices weren’t as good as I thought they would be compared to online I guess? I have flown with paints in my carry-on and had no problem.

don't even get me started on printer issues - mine currently is "printing" but not putting out any ink (and it's one with tanks which are like 3/4 full). I need to shut it off and restart it and fiddle and it's annoying to say the least

Glad you showed this technique as tried it yesterday and it was a bust. Can you use Momento black ink for the background or is the Distress recommended. I think I may have pushed too hard on the pad from what you said today. Thanks so much for a great video and will try it again as it is an awesome technique. Thank you so very much.

the drier the ink pad the more difficult it will be. I haven't used Momento inks in years but from what I remember of it I wouldn't use it for this
