I've only been on my fashion journey for a year (completely self taught). I just wanted to let you know that you've been such an inspirational and thoughtful teacher. I truly cannot express enough how much I appreciate you sharing your techniques and talent. If you're ever in Miami, drinks on me 😘

I really wanna thank u for opening up and telling your story. Also for all your videos cause not all of those who have passion for fashion can go to fashion schools. I am still trying to teach myself and your videos helping me do this.

Can you please do a video on some sewing techniques/tips and tricks? I'm rooting for you Daniela! I really hope you reach your goal and realize your dreams in fashion.

Omg, I can't even explain how elated I am for finding your channel. I know I'm late to this, but girl, this whole q&a was so refreshing. You touched on so many points that I've tried getting out of my teachers when I was in school. They taught me a lot and I appreciate them, but when I tried asking for their personal experiences and advice, it was generic compared to your answers. Thank you for doing this session!😀 I'm so excited to expand my skills through your tutorials!

great discussion, I'm glad you elaborated the emphasis of "brand" and " name" and how its so important in the fashion industry, like people don't understand fashion schools like parsons and fit are just name, and they just help you get your foot through the door, other than that its a whole growing process in this industry

Yes I agree why did I miss this. Real talk real deep. I went to fashion design school while pregnant with my second child. I don't finish but I got all the basics. I too don't sketch or read much. But I learned all the basics. I too applied to FIT back in 1999 while in high school and didn't like that their process.

I follow designers like you to learn more and more. and I can make my own garments and want to b a part of the fashion industry as I have to learn a lot more. but I don't have a degree. can I get a job any where? I need ur guidance

I just want to ask, How do you deal with demanding Clients with Limited Budget? Then once you get a hold of their request, in the end they will ask for more discount or even Refund because they were unsatisfied and will post bad reviews even if they already post pictures about them wearing your creations in 2 different occasions?
