The NPTEL should use multimedia to explain the concepts with live video, demo etc, if we r teaching in same old style, what the benefit students get from this.

In 2018, Prof not aware of hardware and software used in industry. If u r a Web developer, u should know java, similarly if u r control system guy, one must have product knowledge, just reproducing from text book won't help in 21st century, olden days professors just read book, prepare and vomit in class, this style is no more valid, as technology is fast, how doctors are aware of medicines, engineers should keep upto date. Strong product knowledge will make us realise the application of each and every concept we study.
