Arceus has been one of my favourite shinies ever since I went through the void glitch to hunt it. Took me around 15K resets but damn was it worth it. And since it's a Hall of Origin Arceus, I can use it to hunt for the Sinjoh Ruins shinies.

I got an Azure Flute with the DNS Exploit. I already got Shiny Darkrai via the void glitch in only 800 SRs, and I also got Oak's Letter via the DNS events. What would happen if it gave me the Member's Card too? Would it take me back to an empty Newmoon Island? And with Arceus, should I bring a Master Ball or not? And should I RNG for it to make it quick or do a normal hunt? I'd love to have it in the remakes, but is there any sort of illegitimate way to get it from Gen 4 to Gen 8 while bypassing Bank and Home? Like moving the .pk file and messing with it in a hex editor?

faccs: hall of origin arceus cannot be transferred to new gens via bank, however it can be transferred to hgss to activate the sinjoh ruins event arceus caught somewhere other than the hall of origin via void glitch can be transferred to new gens, as long as it is caught in diamond version and levelled up to level 100 in diamond version, i can confirm this myself as i have a jubilife city arceus in my ultra sun version from void glitch shiny arceus cannot be transferred up via bank no matter where its from, but you can use pkhex to bring it to gen 7, and some shiny arceus can be brought to pokemon home, see a video from a guy named shiny taylor to see a proof of concept

I’ve never heard of this way of getting the event before, in fact I never knew they had programmed a distribution method at all. You might be able to transfer up a normal arceus but I think you’d have to level it to 100 first, and maybe get rid of a move iirc

I hunted Arceus awhile back with the Azure Flute using an Action Replay, and I would really like to do this hunt again, but I no longer have my AR. The closest thing I have is a GBA flashcart. I don’t think it’s a matter if the file working with other languages. Afaik the event that this file gives out is only coded into Japanese versions of D/P/Pt. So you’d have to entirely hack your non-Japanese Sinnoh game to get this to work on it.

If possible! Starting with the 3rd Generation Core Video Games, it is possible to use a .sav of any Source Language to a game with a Different Language (Even Japanese!), in this case if you use the Distribution in a Nintendo DS Emulator in a Version Japanese Pokémon D/P/Pt, but you want to use your Save used in a Version with another Language, you only need to rename the title of the .sav you want to use to the same name as the Japanese ROM (Without removing the ".sav" format " from the file of course), then receive the Blue Flute by Mystery Gift and by then you would have finished receiving the Key Item in your Game, and just in case you want to pick up the Flute in your ROM that you use outside of the Japanese one, you just have to rename the Game Name from the Japanese ROM back to the ROM you play, and Done! (I know, it may sound very confusing, but I tried to explain as best as possible)

I Can Confirm Yes It Shiny Hunting Cause I Did Encounter the Shiny Arceus Today day 1 but the Rules are kinda hard but it not a time event but you have to play and compete Pokemon Legends Arceus and Complete that game Pokedex in order to then get the Azure Flute in your Home I Also Catch it with a Timer ball no master ball was used here. Moves are Recover Healing Wish Future Shight and Hyper Beam 40 turns before struggle!

I’ve actually never heard of the Dechi program! I actually had edited the data of a distribution software myself a while back to make it give you the azure flute. I was really young so it could’ve been better (the wonder card’s text is a little messed up lol) but it was still technically a way to get the event legitimately. (Without any cheats or mods to the ACTUAL game)

Oh yea, if you're the type of trainer to use status problems to catch pokemon, this arceus is your worst nightmare. Been a while since I've ever attempted to catch this thing though
