Got to be ranked in the top engineering feats of history! Along with first landing on the moon, safe return of Apollo 13, and first landing on Mars! Congratulations! What a joy and super proud moment it must be to be a Space Ex employee!

Should've attempted ship landing?
@nfnworldpeace1992Ай бұрын
they did! on water though but still it also appears to mimic the booster tower approach so they might have tried to land it on an imaginary tower and then the water. they released the complete bouy cam where you can see the flip landing move

can someone help me out ... the ship seems like it's flying sideways while in "orbit" ... is this camera angle issues, or what it is actually doing? it doesn't seem to be flying straight
@hierox41202 ай бұрын
@@bigdogboos1 It makes sense that it will be hovering while moving sideways. SpaceX is probably simulating the starship approaching the tower horizontally, instead of dropping right on top of it, where the risks of collateral damage are much higher.

its angled for purpose, if anything wrong with booster, its that angle that make booster to make some correction and lead it to the sea. Nothing wrong with any camera.

It only needs to be pointing in the right direction when its in the atmosphere.
