My heartfelt condolences go out to the family, friends, and colleagues of Dr. Andualem Dagne, a brilliant young surgeon whose life was tragically cut short at just 37 years old. His expertise and dedication had the potential to save countless lives in the Amhara region, making his loss not only a personal tragedy but a devastating blow to the many who depended on his skill and compassion. It is deeply heartbreaking that such a promising life was taken by members of a local tribal insurgent group, who fail to grasp that ending his life is, in effect, condemning hundreds of thousands in need of medical care. His murder is yet another in the long list of brutal atrocities committed by the so-called Fano, whose actions-armed and backed by foreign interests-continue to inflict suffering upon innocent people in the region. May Dr. Andualem’s soul rest in eternal peace, and may his loved ones find strength and solace in this time of immense grief.😢😥😥😥😢😢
