Live Surgical Training Spine Surgery Medical VR Simulation - Wraithmatrix - Ghost Productions

This is an entire surgical training simulation for a minimally invasive spinal surgery running on portable VR headsets. A medical device sales rep meets to train a new surgeon ~1500 miles away. In less than 15 minutes this orthopedic surgeon has been completes the surgery guided by the sales rep. This simulation was built using Wraith-VR surgical simulation development tools from Ghost Productions and is networked with other users remotely over Wraithmatrix.

So proud to be a part of developing this VR sim as part of the Ghost Productions VR dev team. And working with Spineology to promote the OptiLIF utilizing the OptiMesh graft containment system. A product I've personally worked hard to promote drawing Medical Illustration, creating 3D Medical Animation, and now developing Medical VR since the mid 90's. Seeing it finally get to the market where it can help make people's lives better is so fulfilling. The best.

Surgeon avatars looks awesome and the OR room looks great! The sound effects for the impaction add to the immersion.

It would be great if this was added to the current Wraith training simulation to go along with the knee joint replacement
