I miss this song writing and passion. Beautiful song! Miss this version of Live. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to see them all together again, but their new stuff just isn't as personal and thoughtful as this is.
@mcg33345 жыл бұрын
I completely agree. Throwing Copper was a meaningful representation of who they were as individuals and as a group, but after it became so popular, they started chasing the popularity and forgot about the intimate nature of the music they had recorded that led to Throwing Copper. In my opinion anyway. I believe they can get back there. They just have to let go of the pretense and delve back into the roots from which they grew. But hey, I could just be full of beer and bullshit. So what would I know. Just know I love this song.

Yeah I agree. That tends to happen to bands and songwriters after many years of fame. They become disconnected with the thoughts, ideas, and passions that made their music so good in the first place. We can at least be grateful for the good music that they did put out in their primes. Music is timeless.

Those of us that question everything, demand answers from all authorities, which don't like being held accountable, or having to explain anything. My teachers didn't like it. My parents didn't like it. My bosses didn't like. My higher ranking officers didn't like it.And neither did my ex. I refuse to blindly trust anything/anyone. So many do, and that's why tRump was elected. Don't trust. Question and challenge. Anyone in higher postions deserve to be held accountable.
