Ang basic definition ng Gratuity (tip) ay something given VOLUNTARILY or beyond obligation usually for a special act or a deed by the employees’ service. So never ever dapat mag-expect ng tip at lalo na kung magkano at mag-dictate kung ilang percentage.

Actual noong una negative ako sa pagbibigay ng tip. Pero when 2:20 my youngest son became chef in Toronto, he told me how small the waiters are receiving their pay at hindi pa full 8 hours kaya it changed my mind set. Nag bibigay na ako ngayon ng 20% tip.

Lalo na pag meron kaming left overs after we dine, ipina babalot namin yan at i uuwi namin at waiters ang gumagawa noon.
