What a great story. I love that it was returned 'home' to be restored. It looks absolutely beautiful. The only thing that could improve it would be to have it right here at my bush home in the Aussie subtropics.

That is one beautiful mature lady. Who wouldn’t love her? A proper classy stunner. Seven people who disliked this are frankly morons.

"Adequate power". Nah mate, they were bloody gutless but that's part of their charm.

Gutless for Formula1 but plenty for most other use cases. Just heard that the US Humvee has a 6.5l V8 and still only drives about 100 km/h max too. What a waste of petrol. 🤣 The military and definitely a farmer do not need more.

If I was reincarnated from anything to human, I was a cat. Now, I like boxes. Boxes are exciting! This car is a big metal box that moves, and I want it!

I imagine they've raised the compression ratio and installed unleaded valve seats. The C/R was so low on these that modern petrol is not suited to them. When you hand crank an original engine you wonder if you have even have the handle engaged!

Imagine a citroèn station wagon from the 70s (the ami8) still uses a crank to start the car meanwhile the most bare bones car on the British market from the 50s are already using a electronic starting system.

Do You Live In The United Kingdom ?! And you don't have a single video of the 1969 Velar, or the Queen Elizabeth Classic Range Rover, or the pre-production Land Rover! This will be really interesting!

Great and iconic Vehicle. As for the video: Skip the romantic music and let's have the proper 1,6 L. engine sound!

Why they donot make this type vachiles
@F6garage7 жыл бұрын
Joseph Thomas they stopped making our landies because they only had ladder chassis and were not compatible to the road safety

Such a shame Land Rover gave up on building real 4WD vehicles for fashion statements.
