4 miles per gallon at 53 miles per hour? We should have talked about this a lot sooner. I got 4 miles per gallon going 6 MPH in my Carver with four stroke motors. Guess you proved how efficient those new 2 strokes can be. Have you gone back and looked at the numbers? It drops to 2 MPG at 4700 RPM and 56 MPH, that last ten percent costs double. is that why he wanted different props? to bring the max RPMs higher?

Correct- got almost 70mph out of it after the prop change
