😩What's the worst thing about traditional English training?
It's taught as if everyone has the name needs, and it was created by Native speakers. So the focus is on getting the right answers, and how it ‘should’ be rather than understanding the challenges we face as nonnative speakers.

Being fluent means having good communication skills, and not feeling like I'm wrestling with the language. Simple I like the words to flow out of my mouth without struggling.

Been learning Ivrit for 5 years now. Vocabulary takes ages to build and fluency a distant dream despite regular hours of concentration. Not put off though. I use reverso context everyday. Watch lots of subtitled soaps, drama's. Translating in my head keeps me slow and Israelis speak so fast. Thanks.

This is going to be shocking to you. I've been in the USA for 50 years. Knew English perfectly well, unfortunately stopped speaking the language 30 years ago and believe it or not I lost all fluency!! I've been watching your videos for a little over a month and have to tell you that I've improved tremendously!! Thank you!!

Thanks Hadar!! For these four points for having a fluent mindset. Enjoy the journey. Study the mistake not the rule. Be in charge of your feelings. Make it a meaningful communication. (This makes so much sense). I was all set to join your live chat y'day and then something urgent came up. Hoping to join in when you're live next time. Take care :)

I am quite confused, because you said, " my native tongue" I guess that it'd be much better to say "my native language" or can we use both of them? I do it in my native tongue or I do it in my native language, which of these sentences would be the correct?
