It doesn’t look bulky at all those are official those are my favorite sneaker as a child. And after research those cam out in 96 the Nike /Jordan 11s was competing with the fila/granthills and fila sold out more sneakers. Then in 97 they made a look alike sneaker from the gran hills and now we have the Jordan 12s today. These kicks are by far under rated and they made the sneaker today bulky so it wouldn’t be considered a great competing sneaker.

I was in middle school and got a pair when I was in 7th grade. I remember the blue stripe on the side of the sole faded really badly and the shoes didnt last long even though they were more comfortable then my nikes. I think I got the denim converses that were made for Kentuckys basketball team after these

Your memory serves right, they are still fragile, the blue stripes were about to crease after I tried them on for 10 minutes at home, and the retro pair have no cushion, it's ridiculous, I would rather buy Nikes if I need more old school sneakers.

The good thing about these ogs is they're still wearable to this day too...ive bidded off ebay an exact pair of these 1996 grant hill IIs a few years back and still wear them day in and out with no problem

The one i have is different the fila on the side is not leather but look like suede or nubuck is it fake i bought them in 2013 or 14 don't remember💯 let me know if you have any info thanks for the video

Even the 2013 retro is better than the 2018 retro, although the 2013 retro was fragile because of the patent leather, but they still had cushion in the midsole, 2018 retro have nothing in the midsole and the 2A model on the outsole is just plastic but nothing, I won't buy Fila shoes again.

They need to get the details right I like that they retroed em but I had the og pair back in middle school and they missed a key feature that irritates me is they didn't keep the "air" unit and the toe box smh

@@keithvanwickler1020 Totally not the same, I bought them for Grant Hill, but felt disappointed to Fila shoes, they ruined it, got no cushion in the midsole and the 2A model on the outsole is just a plastic but nothing.
