This is one song by the Who that is VERY difficult and technical to replicate from every instrument to the vocals. I play this song on my drum kit and my electric bass. I think this is one of Whos most underrated songs. It portrays Pete Townsend's musical genius as well as Keith Moon, Roger Daltrey, and John Entwistles raw talent. Good job boys!

So true the drummer is pretty good. Cause I have been told that the drums on this song is very very hard to copy. You right this is one of those songs that Pete would come up with that is so great. Every instrument in this song is almost impossible to copy vocals very hard. And Keith Moon the drums in this song. I asked this dude a few years ago to see if he can do this song. He was into the who and he was a good drummer. But he got back to me a few months later and said that he did it but it's not even close to Keith Moon. He said something about Keith hits his DRUM'S so fast that there's no one else that can do it. It's the fastest he ever heard. I don't know shit about what he is talking about. But I have heard other rock stars saying shit about how fast he was. But I love this song the very first time I heard it way back in 1972 or 73. Just the sounds in this great song.

@@flashesofblack4128 good luck with the drums dude. I asked a guy on Facebook years ago. He loved Keith Moon and he was covering The who work. I asked him if he had this song and he said it's one song he has been working on for a while. I heard back from him months later and he said he can't do it. Something about Keith hits the drums so fast. I don't understand what he means but I heard it from other rock stars. PETE TOWNSHEND said something about it I can't even tell you cause I don't play any drums or anything else. But I am a WHO freak 😂. Good luck with what you are working on. Stay safe

Really great that this band covered this song. I can't even imagine learning the guitar part for this. Fantastic. Crime the Who didn't ever play this song live. You've topped the Who!

The Who s best song has never been played in concert by them. Rarely heard at the radio. Every time i do hear Who s Next and this song, i wonder how Keith Moon, who according to history, was not a discipline drummer, managed to record it. Great performance boys !!!!

(Excuse the pun) Whoever this group is, they did an absolutely spectacular cover of this epic Who song! A very difficult one to pull off live. Not even The Who themselves ever performed this on stage.

FYI - This song can be played on just an acoustic guitar tuned to an Eb chord. The chord fingerings are weird, but it's possible to get the 9ths and 11ths in the bass.
