Since I have always thought of Trump as being a waste of space, after the first time I saw him on T.V,. I don't understand the people who like him, or don't see him for who he is. I used to read about him while eating lunch at my desk and he always struck me as a horrible person. I guess I am in the cult of people who hate this man on a daily basis, which is why I watch shows like this one. I need to hear from people who understand how dangerous this man is. When Trump first came out announcing that he was running for president I was shocked. I was upset that night and was unable to sleep the night that he won. I had been telling anyone who would listen that this man becoming president would be very bad. Nobody agreed with me and I was told often that he might be good at the job since he was a business man and he was wealthy, like that qualified him for the job of running the country. I was unable to keep quiet and when people told me that they thought Trump was doing a good job I pointed out a few things that should have changed their minds but that never happened. I ended up staying away from people who liked this horrible man. I want to know every day about the latest dumb thing he's done or said, while aways hoping to hear that something horrible has happened to him - anything horrible. I can't ever remember hating someone like I hate this man. I long for the day when we no longer have to hear from him. By the way, how is it that crazy leaders are always odd looking and weird men?

My husband and I are "old". He has been a life-long progressive liberal. Within the last decade, he has done a complete swing to "the other side", he reveres Putin, denigrates the Ukrainians, he voted for Trump in 2016! I really can feel your pain. My late husband was born in the USSR and had made fun of Putin many times, but he became sick and stayed home all day watching Russian tv. The propaganda turned him into a defender of everything Putin did. Even his family in Russia thought he was quite delusional. I saw a psychiatrist twice a week for two years. My psychiatrist (a medical doctor having spent her life specializing in mental health) never mentioned narcissism, let alone Malignant Narcissism. I was born at the tail end of an extremely large, extremely strict, religious family managed by an extremely Malignant Narcissistic set of parents. This lead me to marry an extremely Malignant Narcissistic spouse. The general public should be informed of Malignant Narcissism from an early age, along with reading, writing and arithmetic! I’m positive this knowledge would save many a lifetime of grief and spare the masses from the diabolical political conditions in the world today!

That last point you made reminds me of the time I was shopping with my mother when we noticed a man lying on the sidewalk. People were walking past the man while I headed straight for him. My mother tried to stop me and told me that the man was probably drunk. I ignored her. It turned out that this man was in medical distress and I was able to get him help. I have always been like this. Another time I was walking around with a bunch of friends after dinner, when we came across a man who had fallen in front of a busy store by the automatic doors. He was being pulled back because his briefcase was stuck in the doors and he wouldn't let go of it. People would walk by him and constantly pull him back so he couldn't get up. I simply walked over and stepped forward, keeping the doors open and this man was then able to get up. I have also gone up to animals in distress and never regretted it. Animals realize that I am going to help them and I have never been bitten.
