The chinese have their own. They are han and have sinitic branch linguistically. Nagas are tibeto burman branch which has its own group(Tibet, Burman and some south east asian). CULTURALLY, Nagas(including the other tibeto burman branch group) are more similar to Southeast asian compared to chinese(han ). GENETICALLY, the Tibeto Burman groups are more distant to east Asians(Chinese) as compared to South east Asian. So we are not from china in a sense and has a more complex origin from various regions like Southeast Asia,Tibet, Burma region. ALSO THE WA TRIBE MENTIONED HERE, LINGUISTICALLY THEY ARE AUSTROASIATIC BRANCH SO THEY HAVE a common (NEARER)ANCESTOR TO MOST SOUTH EAST ASIANS AND THE KHASIS OF MEGHALAYA rather than the Nagas.

Their customes and lifestyles are very much in sync with the Nagas(India). I have a gut that they (WAs and NAGAS) do have a common origin without any doubt if their roots are put to a microscopic study...

They are very similar with our Naga tribe of North East India. The housing design, keeping of Buffalo skull, weaving, log drum of other Naga tribes in Nagaland. What our ancestors said must be true.

Pulling of wood trunk is very similar to Nagas of Nagaland. Every Naga tribes pull a log drum and beating is very similar. Hand weaving is exactly the same also identifying male or female wood trunk. May be they are our ancestor.@CGTN should try come and cover here in Nagaland.

Click the thumbnail cause of her dress 😁 the pattern of the weaving on her clothes and the wrap around cloths of those dancing ladies, the pattern of stripes on the men's clothing even the colour similar to ours - Mizo and other Northeast Indian indigenous tribes. We are not far from them, they may be our roots... Hanging animal's skulls and all that.. Even the shouting when they pulled the log hei ha hui ha (?) we still do that when we are working on something heavy we even have a song titled 'Hei ha hui ha' 😅 I can even send you pictures of our traditional handlooms/costumes, you could see how similar our pattern of weaving is

Do mizos have those log drum culture? Nagas still practice hitting log drum kept in village morung. We also pull those log for log drum in similiar manner.

Until today I only read in books that the Nagas migrated from China. Yet now, i can proudly say with no doubt that my ancestors came from this part of China. We share lots in common starting from the morung looks houses, head hunting practice, chanting war cry hoho etc. Oh, C'mon.. That's enough to tell our roots. I am a Rengma Naga of Assam state, India. Lots of love to Waa tribes of China.

Please keep practicing our Naga culture wherever you are. Some day God will hear our prayers to get united and live in one place and call it as Naga Country. Much love from Nagaland, Northeast India.

WA people n Nagas of Nagaland r very similar each other in so many ways. Aftervwatching Ur presentation..log pulling, sacred rituals, typical appearance, traditional hum singing, traditional hut ,log drum(eastern naga)etcccss...In my opinion maybe the Nagas of Nagaland(India) migrated from China centuries back.
