Former US President Donald Trump attended the Republican National Convention on Monday, making his first public appearance since the shooting. Trump was spotted with a bandage on his ear at the Convention in Milwaukee, where he received a hero's welcome from his supporters. Saturday's assassination attempt on the former President seems to have strengthened his support base. The Republican Party has officially nominated Trump as their nominee for the 2024 presidential elections, which are slated for November 5. Trump is now expected to speak on Thursday and reportedly, he has completely changed his speech. Reports say, earlier Trump wanted to target current US President and his Democratic rival Joe Biden, but now he wants to deliver a more unifying message that brings the country together.
In August, Democrats, too, will hold their convention, where Biden is expected to clinch the Democratic Party's nomination. However, Democrats are in disarray due to Biden's recent gaffes and health concerns. Is Trump all set to make a big comeback with the 2024 Presidential elections?
