As we close 2024, one memory that will forever remain with me is the inauguration of the Ram Mandir Temple. It was a historic and deeply emotional moment, bringing people together from all over the world to celebrate a powerful symbol of devotion and unity. Whether experiencing the ceremonies in person or watching them from afar, this monumental event resonated with millions, marking an extraordinary milestone in our cultural and spiritual journey-one I will always treasure.

And before u use whataboutery, no the Supreme Court of India did not definitively establish that there used to be a hindu temple where the mosque was built, and accepted that "aastha" of the majority community of the country played a significant role in the decision. The USA can instantly free up about 300,000 jobs for US citizens just by removing the H4 EAD work privilege given to spouses of H-1B as was the case before rule change in May 2015 …remember every H4 EAD spouse takes up an additional job along with H-1B that a US Citizen can do...Before May 2015 Spouse of H-1B were not legally allowed to work....

The less Indian people get H1B more Indian talent will stay in India. Doesn't everyone want it ? We always talk about brain drain. If Indian Talent stay in India the brain drain will stop. I am surprised why people are worried about this and not taking it as a positive development. Also if US Companies really want Indian talent they will hire more people in their Indian offices this will create more jobs and tax payers in India. This is a very positive development for India.

The Immigration Debate: A Perspective Rooted in Reality As a Nigerian and a strong supporter of Donald Trump, I find myself compelled to address an issue that I believe is being mishandled and misrepresented in certain conservative circles. The ongoing debate around immigration, particularly legal immigration, seems to be veering into problematic territory, and I believe it’s essential to set the record straight. First and foremost, let’s clarify one thing: legal immigration is not the problem. The challenges America faces stem from illegal immigration and systemic fraud-not from individuals who lawfully seek to contribute to the nation. The United States has always been a land of immigrants, and it is precisely this diversity that has fueled its growth and innovation. Trump campaigned on securing borders and fixing a broken immigration system, not on delegitimizing legal immigration. It’s disheartening to see certain factions within the MAGA movement pushing narratives that appear to conflate legal immigration with illegal immigration, often under the guise of protecting American jobs. The data simply doesn’t support the claim that well-documented, legal immigrants are displacing Americans in the workforce at significant levels. If there are abuses, such as with the H-1B visa system, then let’s have a targeted discussion about reforms. However, to broadly condemn legal immigration is not only unfounded but risks alienating millions of immigrants who have supported Trump and his vision for America. I also feel compelled to address the undercurrent of racism that sometimes manifests in these discussions. There are individuals within the conservative movement who seem to advocate for a vision of America rooted in ethnic homogeneity, often favoring European immigrants over others. This is not only morally wrong but also strategically shortsighted. Trump’s victory was not solely the work of fourth- or fifth-generation Americans. It was significantly bolstered by first- and second-generation immigrants who believed in his vision for a stronger, more secure, and more prosperous America. Immigration must be done right-with proper vetting, fraud prevention, and responsible quotas based on the country’s economic needs. But to close the door on hardworking, law-abiding, and patriotic individuals simply because they don’t “look” like a certain segment of the population is an affront to what America stands for. To my fellow conservatives: patriotism and decency should be the guiding principles-not tribalism, not racism. America’s strength lies in its ability to integrate people from all walks of life, united by shared values and a common goal of contributing to this great nation. We must also remember that while indigenous Americans have a unique claim to this land, the rest of us are all descendants of immigrants in one way or another. It is therefore hypocritical and counterproductive to argue against legal immigration outright. Instead, let’s focus on: 1. Securing the southern border to prevent illegal immigration. 2. Fixing the broken immigration system to ensure transparency and efficiency. 3. Implementing a point-based system that prioritizes skills, economic contributions, and cultural integration. Lastly, I urge President Trump and other leaders in the movement to speak out against the toxic rhetoric that seeks to exploit his platform for exclusionary or racist agendas. The MAGA movement should stand for merit, hard work, and patriotism-not superficial characteristics like race or ethnicity. America is a land of opportunity, and that opportunity should remain open to those who are willing to respect its laws, contribute to its economy, and uphold its values. Anything less would betray the principles that have made this country great.

Why do non-Muslims criticize Taliban bans? They are implementing what many Muslim women desire. Muslim women in India also aspire to live a similar life, but it is the non-Muslim government that is denying them these rights.

H1B should just serve as a temporary economic boost for those seeking employment in U.S and not as permanent change in their identity. If H1B stops being a pathway for Green card and citizenship, in the long run it will help India to grow by curbing brain drain. It also helps individual families since immigration and citizenship means end of Indian language, culture and values in their kids or grand kids generation.

Bad logic. The groups that are legally immigrating today are better than those who came here and killed native people and stayed here for illegally a few centuries. This is a country of immigration. There are white people immigrating here from Europe even today!

I watch Palki's News show every day, and really love her unique narrative style, attitude, sarcasm, and hint of anger when narrating stories about India's adversaries. Here's my constructive feedback: please improve your English diction because some of the words are mispronounced. Also, a note for your writers, the words migrants and immigrants, don't mean the same thing. So, H1B workers are not considered migrants, they are immigrants. Migrants are people who come across the border without any work visas, mostly illegals. As an American, I do believe in Maga's America first agenda, although I do support H1B workers coming in only for highly skilled tech jobs at Meta, Apple, or SpaceX, or advancement in science, however, the visa should not allow work permits for the spouses, and it should not allow birthright citizenship to their children.

One correction in the last segment of what happened on this day the visual displays 1992 instead of 1922 which can be misleading as around 1991- 1992 Soviet Union collapsed the exact opposite of established
