Back in the day, before cable tv, tv shows premiered approximately the same day every year, in the fall. Typically they filmed 13 episodes, 1 a week. Then spring would start the repeats thru the summer. Then fall would start the cycle all over again. Everyone would look forward to the season premiers. We also had the TV Guide, which was like a small book. All that was back in the good old days. I said all that to explain why those shows you mentioned premiered on the same day, lol.

Dee Dee, Portland, Oregon. Re-watching the posting for the live today. I ran out of gas so many times in my adult older adult life that you couldn’t count the times. I may have used AAA once or twice probably once but my neighbors otherwise came to the rescue. There were two specific neighbors that I used to have coffee with actually they were probably 1520 years older than me and the husband would come out and help. And they didn’t like it, but they were good natured about it.

Sept 1989 we were building condos in charleston county. In the Carolina's , i was charged with goingvto our condo site to "button" the construction down prior to Hurricane Hugo's arrival & planned to hunker down at a hotel until after the storm to direct clean up of our site. Unfortunatly all the power was shut down even at the hotel & I was advised that we were all to leave the beach area. Needless to say Charleston county was the epicenter of Hugo's wrath. All roads lesding from the eadt coast were reversed so vehicles could evacuate all the coadtal communities. I had no choice but to drivd back to Florida. Hugo left a path of devastation in 1989.

It was right after the national 55 mph speed limit was lifted and they raised the speed limits on the highway in TX to 70 mph. Well, I was going to work and I had made it to work many times before on that amount of gas; but I didn’t take into account the higher speeds. LOL. Thankfully, my daddy worked at the same place and he was able to come rescue me only about a mile short of making it to work. 😂
