what is the width of the rails for the vector? is it 20mm? I am thinking of getting a scope when my blaster arrives (Just ordered it) I probably will look at getting metal railings and a better spring as first upgrades + a holographic sight (because why not), just hoping for your advice, thanks.

Did an upgrade over the weekend. Green o-ring, strong return spring, plunger\piston head bearing and 1.4mm unequal spring. (Stock plastic barrel). Massive feed issue with milkies. Mashed gels, double shots, accuracy all over the place. Dropped back to 1.3mm spring, much better. Thinking of getting a custom bruisemaster alloy barrel 180mm long, 10mm OD, 7.1 ID. Or, just stick with their 9.5mm OD barrel & thread tape the t-piece end & epoxy in place. Any thoughts?

Something's not right there. If you are mashing milkies I'd say that there is something wrong in the tappet department. But the 1.3 is ok? Thats an odd one for sure.

@@lowguidoschopshop Yeah, I changed up to the 1.3 ages ago & it worked fine then. The return spring is slightly larger than original, but it dry fired ok after I finished working on it. Then actually firing gels was rubbish. Going back from 1.4 to 1.3 was the quick\1st test. When I swap out the barrel I might go back to the original return spring & try the 1.4 again. I've asked bruisemaster for a quote on a 10mm OD, 180mm barrel.

@@johnwhear9600 what barrel are you currently using? I would check on that return spring... I didnt touch the spring on either of the vectors I did. keep in mind that the vector gearbox is very different to the gen 8 but all sellers sell upgrade parts for gen 8 and tell you they work in vector. not always the case.

Went to a event where it was raining, a week old vector's mosfet (friends blaster) died and I instantly hid mine under cover til the rain stopped. Anyway I can protect the mosfet? A 3d printed box for it or a certain waterproof spray? I love this thing, gave up my modded scar v2 to the mrs (singularity nylon box, red chi hai, 1.3 spring, metal and alloy internals) for the stock vector and I can't find any flaws except the water problem

water and electronics, don't mix. theres a number of things that may work, but you want to make sure that you don't allow it to overhear either... best bet is to just avoid water.

hi , you don't say which port cylinder you use, gen 8 cylinder port ? also the length of the alloy barrel - what legnth is correct ?

Yo Low Guido can you please do a video properly demonstrating the benefits of a hop up with the Vector but with the camera angle showing where the rounds are heading from the shooters POV? I have yet to see someone post a decent video of a hop up in action on the Vector V2. Also that barrel upgrade can it be shortened to the original length? Cheers

Gen 9 mate. Less to go wrong and a bit more flexible when it comes to up-grades. Not much in it though especially if you like the look of the Vector...the gen 9 is a bit of a plain jane. I have both as a frame of reference.

Yeh thanks mate I just bought the gen 9,I was still thinking of buying the vector because it shoots 250 from the box where as I've seen from low.guidos channel some gen 9 are low 200s from box .

Cool man. Enjoy the blaster! So much fun! Imo it is all a bit hit and miss with Chinese quality control. My gen 9 easily hit harder than my vector out of the box. Test target was a reactive on a hinge. Gen 9 thumped it over. Vector did not. That being said they all pretty much need o-ring, alloy barrel and potentially 1.2 spring.

Yeh I couldn't agree more I'm so happy with my gen 9 I'm thinking it's one of the good ones ,it literally leaves small bruises on who I shoot bare skinned.buying the o ring and spring next week
