Paytm has launched India’s first NFC card soundbox, a two-in-one mobile QR payment device which doubles up as an affordable card payments machine. Launched by Paytm Founder & CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma, the machine marks the next chapter in mobile payments with NFC card payment technology in the Paytm QR Soundbox. The machine allows customers to simply tap a debit or credit card or scan a QR to make payments. According to Paytm, the new Soundbox equips small shops with an affordable device for comprehensive payment acceptance across all methods. Paytm has also launched 'customised QR codes' for customers.
