Watching De Lana and her band is a pleasure. So naturally smooth in her approach to the long held high notes. You can only have full admiration for a truly talented artist She has a pure & unique tone. De Lana deserves all the praise she gets, but many feel the band also deserves some love. Gigi's vibes are fabulous. Wonderful "chillout" For me, Gigi de Lana is the only Asian singer I like to listen to. The only one who does not shout non-stop but can sing wonderfully , with soul.

David Foster performed this with Morissette Amon in March 2023. Piano 🎹 in the Dark. Produced by Brenda Russell and Jeff Hull. Written by them and Scott Cutler. Original singer is Brenda Russell. When I arrived in The Philippines 🇵🇭 in 2022, I saw 👀 a mural of Gigi de Lana on a skyscraper in BGC. She is popular there. She does lead the band wonderfully, but they do lead too, and sometimes they prank her, for example, by modulating again and again so she has to sing higher. There are a few videos of them playing and laughing (search for laughtrip), and at least one with bloopers where they are joking and laughing while the beat the the chords just keep going. People will suggest "Fly me too the moon" and "Better days", but I'd like to suggest "Yesterday"
