Adele has improved tremendously ever since she released 25. Every region of her voice got better but the biggest improvement was her lower register, in my opinion, that went from non-existent to a pretty good/solid one. Her belts also improved drastically, specially above B4. This era she sang Rolling In The Deep and Someone Like You in the original keys for the first time. So all this inspired me to do a video to showcase her vocals, enjoy and share!

Gabriel Ximenes Vocal range isn't really the range but the vocal type and texture. Thats why it's also called as Vocal Type. Mariah is a light lyric Soprano but she can sing resonant 2nd octave notes.

Céline Dion still got an amazing voice. Whitney was because of the abuse of drugs and Cristina Aguilera I think it's due to a bad technique, she seems to push her larynx too high too often.

people talk about her range, but she packs so much of a punch into it! she's a master of emoting. that's why sia, rihanna & her will always have a place in my heart. despite them not having the biggest ranges or people saying they can't sing, they all bring something to the table that many artists don't: emotion. We know there are millions of acrobatic singers with incredible ranges and vocal techniques, the talent shows are full of them and the most are never successful for the same reason, there are too many, because it is something that does not require much talent, it is enough with training and literally anyone with a voice can get it. Adele's songwriting and relatablility, as well as her soulful voice and ability to emote are what have made her as big as she is today. When 21 made it massive, she really stood out amongst the popular music that was present everywhere (Dance/Pop music was very dominent in 2011). You could say she helped pave the way for ballads to once again be played regularly on Radio. Not to mention Adele has had a huge influence on young singers wanting to make it and have seen many of her songs covered on talent shows, youtube etc. 25 was essentially a make or break point for Adele, as history has shown many artists who have the 1 big album end up being unable to replicate its success (Alanis Morisette/Norah Jones for Instance). Adele completely smashed through that with monumental and record-breaking sales. What's even more astounding is how huge her sales have been given the album market had been in decline for many years and was well below its peak from the late 90s/early 2000s. You have to remember that Mariah was in the same position as Adele during her career. Very successful, but her impact yet to be truely felt. It wasn't until the 2000s that you would have many singers cite Mariah as an influence and Mariah didn't cement her legacy until The Imancipation of Mimi imo. Adele is still in early days (she's just over 9 years into her career), but she certainly seems to be on her way to becoming a Legend in music.

I understand the idea that she increased the popularity of ballads at that time where EDM was big but who AMD what exactly has she influenced is my question. Singing emotive ballad songs doesn't feel to me substantial in claiming someone influenced you. She's only been singing ballad songs since the start of her career. I can definitely seen her as a legendary seller, that's undeniable but I struggle to see her as being legendary her artistry. As a woman whose strictly a singer, she skill level so not on the standard than we hail music heavyweights like Whitney or Mariah for example. Those women being strictly singer. All I'm saying is Adele is definitely legendary when it comes to sales but when it comes to her craft of singing, I don't think she's impacted the industry enough and her skill level hasn't reached a level where we can hail her as a legendary artist. She may well improve and prove me wrong but as of now that's where I stand with her. (Not that it actually matters what I think. Sorry about the long rant. )

She is good. Vocally she could work on some areas. But overall she is a really good singer with a nice and distinctive voice. She is a great, classy artist with beautiful songs and touching lyrics. That's all that matters. People get way too caught up in the technical stuff that they miss the main point of art. Don't give in to that. If you like her, listen to her. If she sounds good then she is a good singer. That's all we should be focusing on.

People keep trying to claim her voice has changed, but truly her techniques have just become better.. and actually after losing the weight her breath control has improved drastically. It was so stupid hearing people comment saying things like “I hope the weight loss does mess up her ability to sing”? What? That’s the stupidest things I’ve ever heard!
