I didn't go to Auburn and I'm not even from Alabama. I'm just a big fan. The reason I'm a big fan, is my spouse is class of "98. She took me to my first A-Day game in 2013 " the last roll". All I know is when I walked on to that campus, I was home. That being said, I'm with this team no matter what. I'm with them in our lowest times and I'll be with them in out highest times. This is exactly what I thought would happen . I’m sick and tired of it. Playing at Jordan hare used to be hard for opponents . Everyone is licking their chops now. I’d love to see us get under center and run the ball some and just play action off it. What would our record be if we ran the ball 85% of the time. The few times we do throw it we gotta hit home runs but just committ to the running game.

Arkansas quarterback didn't light up the scoreboard , he was also pulled. Hugh could've got a quarterback, but Hugh spent the money on receivers. Hugh isn't a good coach. It was his decision he wrote the check this is on him. Better teams are coming.

The common denominator from last year and this year? Thorne and Hugh. Hugh is dying on this Thorne hill because he refused to cut the check for a portal qb. Crazy.

Hugh was one of the first to incorporate HUNH. Once that unfair substitution trick was countered by also allowing the Defense to substitute, he hasn’t been successful. His success was due to a gimmick. List the QBs that Freeze has developed in his career. Answer: 0. AU and Hugh were used to drive-up the price for elite QBs by Agents in the Transfer Portal. None of them really wanted to play in Freeze’s high school offense. Hugh didn’t “leave” or pull out of negotiations. Once Agents got their asking price from other schools, they took it. Let’s be honest. High was hired because he lucked up 2x vs Saban and Ala. In those two games, Bama beat themselves with errors and turnovers. The HUNH was the key factor. Freeze was 2-4 vs Saban during his tenure at OM. Yet, hired him after AU Boosters stabbed Harsin in the back and drove him out of town. Now we can’t fire Hugh because we are still paying Malzahn AND Harsin not to coach our team.

Did the coaching staff not address turnovers in practice this week? I don't think they did! How about fumbles? With all the uproar over turnovers and protecting the ball they put it on the ground, AGAIN! The interceptions are another story. Hank is going to make poor decisions. We all knew that. But the fumbles are by veterans. Protecting the ball is RB 101 stuff. At this point it's malignant. Who in the RB room hasn't played? Serious consideration needs to be given to benching Demari and Jarquez. If they don't get their heads out of their asses maybe they should ride the pine. Charlie, you talk about how they've got to figure out what they can do with Payton and Hank. Walker's a non starter. He would be ruined if Hugh put him out there right now. Because while qb is our main problem spot it's not our only problem. We're seeing tips for interceptions and dropped balls again, and we can't count on our run game because we keep putting the ball on the ground. I was going to say we're at our worst just as Oklahoma is coming up. But I don't know. I'm kind of glad we DON'T have another 'easy win' game first. That would be an opportunity to get even worse going into the Oklahoma game! 🙄 I don't see anything you can do. You scheme it as easy as you can for Hank to give him some confidence and you ride with him. Pulling him out at the half was not what you do. He has to have the chance to figure it out. We can't say playing Hank was the right decision and then try to say it was the wrong one. Then we need to decide who is most likely to catch the ball and play them, ONLY. Finally, consider who in the RB room hasn't had an opportunity to fumble and play them. If you can bench a qb to try to wake him up, I don't see why you can't sit a running back down to get him out of his slumber too. It sucks, but Hugh and staff are flat out of options, and they put themselves here by selling us this bill of goods this off season.

The thing that really just astounds me is that this offense doesn't have a problem with offensive production. They move the ball when they have opportunities. Peyton had 213yds and 2 TDs IN ONE HALF. If I told you Peyton played this entire game and had 426yds and 4 TDs, y'all would be like, "I don't know....maybe he could win a Heisman. *shrug*" Auburn's problem is that every opportunity they do get ends in catastrophic failure, not a little failure... A CATACLISMICALLY SHIFTING EVENT. Which puts their D in impossible spots over and over. I've never seen anything like it. I'm not even mad; I'm impressed. One thing I'll hang my hat on tonight is that I don't believe the special teams had any hugely negatively impactful plays. But then again I think I'm repressing a lot from tonight. lol WDE anyway

A lot of fans set high expectations for Auburn this season, especially in the games we’ve lost, and now there's a lot of frustration and disappointment. Unrealistic expectations can put pressure on the team and strain the relationship between fans and players.
