I understand the frustrations with the administration's *lack of transparency* and the prospect that Karine Jean-Pierre has become "the face" of it in some ways, but what the audience is getting from the press secretary comes from *Biden's instructions.* Some assume Karine is "not doing her job well," when, in fact, she is doing it rather well, as far as the administration is concerned. She sticks to the script, as required of her by her boss. Lack of transparency is an administration-wide phenomenon. The audience gets the same results across all the departments of the administration. Her job, for better or worse, is to cast the administration in the best possible light, even if it comes at the expense of transparency. It is the *press's job* to "press" the administration in ways that force it to be honest with the public.💡
