✎ More about Simon Sinek. He earned a BA degree in cultural anthropology from Brandeis University. He attended City University in London with the intention of becoming a barrister but left law school to go into advertising. He moved to New York and joined Euro/RSCG, an ad agency, where he worked on the MCI account. In 2002, he started his own company, Sinek Partners. In October 2009, he released his book “Start with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action”. He once taught a graduate-level class in strategic communication at Columbia University. He has commented for The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and FastCompany. He was a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, BrandWeek, IncBizNet. His third book is called Together Is Better: A Little Book of Inspiration. His fourth and latest book is titled Find Your Why: A Practical Guide for Discovering Purpose for You and Your Team.

Simon Sinek is one of my favorite speakers. I love the story of the "free bagels in the park". In this video, the rule that I like the most is rule #1 Live your life on purpose. If one doesn't have a destination in life (I could call it "legacy") we are going to be taken everywhere and sail thru life without getting fulfillment. I gotta really think what I stand for and use that as my "destination" so that I can live my life on purpose. Courageous leader - very powerful. Do NOT sacrifice people for advancement, company or oneself, but rather, support people. Thank you Evan and team. Awesome job. Have a great day.

Thank you! I agree! Living on purpose. I was very selfish before not doing anything and not helping others. I had no purpose. But this last year everything changed! I recently did an interview with former President Of Mexico Vicente Fox and he said live your life on purpose and once you find your purpose everything else falls into place.

Number six is Amazing! You know, some day I played football with my brother and my mother was standing while we was shooting the ball between each other and what happend is I focused on *to not shoot the ball into my mother * but unfortunately I did it 😂So never focus on the obstacles as in the pilot community

Ofcourse but when you look in statistics, goals, trophies, not too many better then him just check, plus he made couple extra records like 5 goals in 9 minutes in Bundesliga and some more, right now he just scored his 400th goal in career, just 5 players scored more in history and he is only 30 old now. But that's not the reason to make 10 rules of him. The real reson is that he was a real underdog, smallest boy in younger age from country without good training spots and oportunites become "one of the best" player now, plus he had bad injury as a youngster that almost ruin his career so Im pretty sure he got couple good advices how to earn success.
