Great video! Lots of useful info. My wife and I recently bought an old friends 2005 27 ft North River . We are considering a re-power and really appreciate the review of the 225 Mercs. Couple of questions . I’m assuming that was 2mpg for both motors combined? And does the co-pilot seat swivel to face the table?

Congrats that should be a great boat for you guys. For the fuel economy on the Merc’s yes that was 2.0 mpg combined. Our boats can get up to 2.3 to 2.4 mpg. Crazy good economy. As for the copilot seat it all depends on what base is on them. Some spin and some don’t. I seem to recall that John has the swiveling bases on his air rides. The ones on my boat don’t swivel.

That was his last boat I believe, also a 27. There was biblical rain for a few days. Nobody really knows what exactly happened though. Really crappy deal!
