Chambers Pillar Campground - Northern Territory

The Chambers Pillar campground is divided into two areas. One area is for camper trailers/caravans and motorhomes and the other for tents. The camping area for tents is closer to the Pillar and has the walk to the Pillar starting directly at the parking area.
Although the areas are a little smaller, these 'tent' sites can be suitable for smaller campers, rooftop tents and so on.
There are gas BBQ's in the tent area also however were not working when Live2Camp were here. This campground is set in the most beautiful area with the sun setting and rising over the gorgeous Pillar visible from your campsite.

The drive to the Pillar from Alice Springs is 4wd only and can be difficult after rain.

Amazing to see a video from Chamber's Pillar. I first read about it some 50 years ago and have always wanted to visit. Made it to Fink once, but that's as close as I got. Thanks mate.
