animator here! I find it so cool when people stumble upon animation techniques without knowing animation. Squash and stretch are one of the 12 rules of animation and it really cool hearing you descride it in your own way and how you interpreted that rule based on your own observations! its like seeing how the old masters must have thought before writing books about it. Thanks for this tutorial ❤

This wouldn't have been a sincere Live2D tutorial without the cussing. ;-)

man, this video is super helpful. the hair physics specifically aren't exactly my strong point.... question though, slightly unrelated. how did you get your ears to flick at random intervals?? i currently have a model I'm working on that needs an ear and tail flick, but the current result is choppy because I have it hooked up to the eye blink.
@miyunyas2 жыл бұрын
You have to create a new set of parameters for the ears if you have the initial parameters set to physics already. The new set of parameters would be used for the animation file and set to your model's idle animation in VTS or prprlive. My model has 3 parameters for the right ear, one for physics movement, one for idle animation, and one for going down during eye-shrink

Do you know how to do hair shadow?^^
@miyunyas2 жыл бұрын
You can just include the individual hair shadow for each strand into the deformer you are rigging the shadow in and it will have the same movement as the hair as it moves. I think this is the easiest way to do it (must have it separated in the PSD first.) My previous video I go over very briefly how I add hair shadows onto the model post-rigging too.
