I was at this consert in Hyde Park in 2005, right behind the golden circle. This song was one of the songs with most singing, dancing and lively people around among us spectators. When Keane sang Bedshaped, when Robbie Williams was on stage, when Pink Floyd performed Comfortably Numb and when George Michael came on stage to sing with Paul McCartney was also equal to the experience we had livelywise with Madonna and her Ray of Light

Just proof that she is the queen and her live performances are so infused with energy/synergy. It’s the energy from audience that she feeds off of and gives right back. This performance was in the day light with the music video effects on the jumbo screens ( that was the only staging effects ) just Madonna, the Band, and two dancers at the end and the the crowd was erupting with energy. Just proof she does not need all the production she usually has with her touring that she can have same entry and effect on a crowd live without it. That being said I love the huge staging production she tours with and every tour just gets bigger and better. Dam this lady is untouchable. Just the gold standard when it comes to a live performance.

That’s exactly right. I’m not a fan of Madonna but this fucking track rocks all kinds of badass. The whole album Ray of Light is amazing and as I bought it I thought I had become a fan, but alas. When I heard her next album after I felt... nothing. Still it opened my eyes and ears to at least one of her older tracks, Like a Prayer. Also a great one.

To me this was peak Madonna despite her rise to being a cultural icon with the Blonde Ambition Tour already having happened in ‘90. This album to me was her artistic milestone.
