One thing I learned from lila rose is that in a debate it's always important to keep your temper in control. Justin was being aggressive on purpose and trying to provoke lila into a fight so that he wouldn't have to offer any logical arguments cause he had none. He failed because lila didn't give into that.

Lila is such an inspiring example of how femininity can be strong too. She remained calm, quiet, and kind the whole time, even while being attacked by the whole panel. Actually it is Lila who is not only contradicting but who is flat out lying. The Bible does not condemn polygamy. In fact, it condones it. Some might argue that Christ has only one wife, the church. Therefore, we are not to have more than one wife either. The problem with this reasoning is, Christ does not have only one wife. He has two. Indeed, the church is depicted as His wife (Ephesians 5:25-32; Revelation 19:7-8), but so is the New Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven (Revelation 21:9-27). Now, an overseer or a deacon is only to have one wife. This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, . . . . Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, . . . (1 Timothy 3:1-2, 12; see also Titus 1:6). (1 Corinthians 6:16) Therefore, the two becoming one still applies to each union in a polygamous marriage. Many find the idea of polygamy a bad thing. But, Ecclesiastes depicts it as a good thing. If a man begets a hundred children and lives many years, so that the days of his years are many, but his soul is not satisfied with goodness, or indeed he has no burial, I say that a stillborn child is better than he (Ecclesiastes 6:3). Living many years is typically regarded as a good thing (e.g. Proverbs 3:2; Ephesians 6:3). Having children is explicitly stated to be ''a reward" (Psalm 127:3). Yet, the one of whom this song sings really stood out among them all. My dove, my perfect one, is the only one, the only one of her mother, the favorite of the one who bore her. The daughters saw her and called her blessed, the queens and the concubines, and they praised her. (Song of Solomon 6:9) The other wives praise this fellow wife.

As a man, a husband, a father, a servant and a leader, I hate it when men define their value as a husband and father only through their personal and financial success. I also hate how we as a society point out the worst examples of something we disagree with to justify our own poor behavior. But that's the thing : we as a society have conditioned men to believe that as long as they can throw money at their kids and wives that they are good fathers and husbands when it takes WAY more. The ultimate consolation is the undeniable inevitability that when this man is in his 70s(assuming that he survives that long) he will leave behind a family that will treat him with the same kind of disregard and apathy and will only come to his funeral to see if they are getting any share of his will. I feel sad for him. He's not strong or self-confident. Whenever someone is so adamantly rooted to a particular opinion or lifestyle and cannot seem to accept any criticism, more often than not, they're deeply hurt somewhere in their past, and this man looks like he will shoot himself in the face the minute he loses his bank balance or his status or gets cheated on.
