Everytime I hear this "desperado" version, it always takes me back to the streets of San Francisco, the song matches so well the peaceful environment. Great rendition

"Desperado" Desperado, why don't you come to your senses? You been out ridin' fences for so long now Oh, you're a hard one I know that you got your reasons These things that are pleasin' you Can hurt you somehow Don't you draw the queen of diamonds, boy She'll beat you if she's able You know the queen of hearts is always your best bet Now it seems to me, some fine things Have been laid upon your table But you only want the ones that you can't get Desperado, oh, you ain't gettin' no younger Your pain and your hunger, they're drivin' you home And freedom, oh freedom well, that's just some people talkin' Your prison is walking through this world all alone Don't your feet get cold in the winter time? The sky won't snow and the sun won't shine It's hard to tell the night time from the day You're losin' all your highs and lows Ain't it funny how the feeling goes away? Desperado, why don't you come to your senses? Come down from your fences, open the gate It may be rainin', but there's a rainbow above you You better let somebody love you (let somebody love you) You better let somebody love you before it's too late

Diana Krall: she makes a slow song even slower, she makes a deep song even deeper, she makes an emotional song even more emotional, she makes a covered song her own! Goosebumps guaranteed! Simply magnificent!

"Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word" What have I got to do to make you love me What have I got to do to make you care What do I do when lightning strikes me And I wake to find that you're not there What do I do to make you want me What have I got to do to be heard What do I say when it's all over And sorry seems to be the hardest word It's sad, so sad It's a sad, sad situation And it's getting more and more absurd It's sad, so sad Why can't we talk it over Oh it seems to me That sorry seems to be the hardest word What do I do to make you love me What have I got to do to be heard What do I do when lightning strikes me What have I got to do What have I got to do When sorry seems to be the hardest word

Diana Krall, master of the funeral dirge. No matter what the piece or song, it always sounds like somebody killed her cat, ran off with her dog in her favorite pickup truck and slept with her wife. Here she comes, Ode to Joy, Handel's "Halleluja Chorous", "Stars and Stripes Forever" and "76 Trombones". Amazing talent, hers is!

Finally, a singer who can almost get the song correct.
