Jack didn't do much of the songwriting for SS. Phil Buckle did. Also wrote Burn For You by John Farnham. A genius!!
@TheMimiSard2 жыл бұрын
@@timsimon8995 That is what makes me think of John! This song is so similar to "Burn For You"! It must be Buckle's ballet style then.

Glad he escaped this dump (USA) when he was young. Glad for you Aussies, you’re nice people.Glad for him and his family to find a better place. Side note how I even found him: I’m a HUGE Louie Shelton fan. What a terrific American he is(was). He grew up in Arkansas, ran into Fellow Arkie Glen Campbell, was on the Famed ‘Wrecking Crew’ in LA, and was on The Who’s Who of record industry’s original recording from the Jackson 5, to The Monkees (Last Train To Clarksville (among others), Neil Diamond, Boz Scaggs, Lionel Ritchie, and a S-load of others! Anyway, Louie escaped here too and went to Australia to live. He mentioned he produces Southern Sons, so I checked it out, and WOW… what a talent Jack is…I would have missed one of the most beautiful songs ever, had Louie not squeezed that in the interview. I envy Aussies. You guys are great.

The morning sunlight, moves gently on our bed Sounds of distant traffic, float into my head Eyes slowly open and words won't be enough But what is left unspoken burns softly in your touch So hold me in your arms Hold me in your arms So my love, hold me in your arms Time moves without us, this room will be untouched We're safe beneath the truth now Both safe within this love So hold me in your arms Hold me in your arms So my love, hold me in your arms And oh the heart in me Feels more than you can see I can't get close enough Every single day, is ours to feel this way I can't get close enough, never close enough ... So hold me in your arms Hold me in your arms So my love, hold me in your arms
