Because weak nonthinking players actually engage with his banter... Just ignore him and look down...There is a book written by FBI human lie detector who used his skills for poker. The book is pretty interesting in terms of explaining human habits which used when interrogating criminals. Conversation builds baseline before and during hands.

@Meerkat924 жыл бұрын
Garrett is honestly incredible at speech play and if you don't know what you're doing you're better off not engaging with him at all during a hand, he will pry you apart. Notice how earlier in the session he needles dapo a little during the KK hand and engages with him when dapo goes for a value bet. He paid him off and picked up some valuable information on how he acts. Later in the session with the AQ hand, he does the same engagement and is almost instantly able to see a natural difference in the way depo reacts. At that point the decision is as clear as day for Garrett. He's truly one of the best at it. If you don't know what you're doing and aren't aware of how much information you might give away. The best advice would be to not engage at all.
@grindix4 жыл бұрын
Dapo s mannerism and posture where way different than in the KK hand. He also showed some obvious live tells that Garret for sure picked up on to be able to make that call.
