I've been a musician for 28 years and get goosebumps seeing this beautiful crowd how they sing along, raise their hands to the beat and simply how they're feeling the music. I'd give anything to be one of the band members on that stage at that moment.

I was there that night. life changing performance/experience. we where all one that whole show, the expectation fully matched the experience. Finding it hard to connect with live bands since then .still love live bands but not been in that state since (few songs out of equation by others)) saw beth Hart there too

Paradiso FTW! Best venue ever, right in the middle of Amsterdam and a landmark for decades already. Love going to the Paradiso to see bands with 1500 like minded people. It's always special there, whoever plays there. Although Live at that time could sell out far bigger venues in the Netherlands they chose the temple of Rock in Amsterdam.

Man I've been playing guitar for almost 2 decades and never really liked bands of the 90s and on up. Lead guitar is what grabs me. But Live is one exception. God damn can Kowalczyk sing. His add libs and improv while performing are just raw natural fucking talent flowing through his veins.
@ZeeZee93 жыл бұрын
How can you not like any 90s rock bands? What?
@BradleyVolk33 жыл бұрын
@@ZeeZee9 back then I was only into classic rock mostly and thought "Alternative" and "Grunge" was for fuckin idiots. Remember "Presidents of the United States of America"? They were just piss in the pool of 90s and it took me a lot longer than usual to enjoy the 90s greats. Of course there was great 90s music...
@ZeeZee93 жыл бұрын
@@BradleyVolk3 Oh yeah haha. Forgot about them. Yeah they were like the poppiest of 90s alt rock. There was a lot of darker deeper stuff that was great. I'm sure you have discovered them by now. Better late than never :)

+robertk2007 were they not always religious? I always dug live, but I didn't always notice the lyrics in detail

They never were religious to begin with. If anything their lyrics were shamanistic during the Distance to Here era.
@TBONE_20046 жыл бұрын
Update: Ed dropped that bullshit, got the band back together and said "FUCK IT, LET'S ROCK!!!" Mostly due to him and Chad Taylor having a very deep heart to heart at a bar one night, and well, as they say "The rest is history."
