Amos, I want to let you know I my only child was killed and you pulled me through it, only your voice and music calmed me down otherwise I wouldn't be here today. My heart thanks you Amos since she left a treasure for me ... a grandson & without & your talents, he would have been here on earth alone. I found strength & the will to go on for his sake. My heart thanks you Amos!! I just can't get through the day without hearing you sing. You are so gifted, & loved by thousands, including me!!

I hate to say this, but his youth as a singer shows in this version of this song. It's still amazing, but he hasn't grown into his sound like he has when he recorded it for the album, for the live stuff after, and his newer albums. I wouldn't dare say this is a bad video, but you can see how much he's grown as an artist in taking this same song HERE, and comparing it to how he sings it 2 years later. WOW. What an artist!

Somehow Amos captured that cold bleak "inventive/creative time" between 3-5am in the morning when you work the night shift and you feel like the whole world is asleep yet you are alone with your thoughts....man, I love Amos!! Saw him in Toronto just a few years ago (2018) at a nasty musty old theatre - hope he gets a better venue next time hahaha!

I just recently got the oppurtunity to see this man perform live in portland and it was one of those moments that was real. This man is pure, he is real, and he has such a humble vibe that you just can't help to love. He moves people, me especially I just want to take the time and tell you all how incredible he is. love you amos, keep doing what you do, your goin' places.

Love the description, it right on the mark. Amos sounds like a combination of so many greats & he does have a sweet & sincere aura about him, no hint of pretense or conceit. He gives us his all~humble & honest, he's completely genuine~ the "real deal." And as his voice is easy on the ears, he's very easy on the eyes as well, lol!

As in the interpretation of visual artwork, do any two people agree on the slightest abstraction of the lyrics? Read into it what you feel. This is the beauty of art.
