I want to say this....not for sympathy or attention. Just as encouragement of sorts. I'm in my early 40's. My healthy, marathon running, salad eating Mom was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia 10 years ago (when she was only in her mid-50's). She has been in hospice care for over a year, but has been nearly vegetative for far longer. I can't remember how many years it's been since she could speak or knew who I was. Please treasure the moments you get to spend with your sweet mother. Whether sharing a simple meal at home, chatting about silly things, playing old games, going out for a night on the town or a trip abroad...all of those moments are so precious! Learn from her everything you could ever want to know, share with her any gratitude you might feel, and soak up and memorize every second you get to spend together. You clearly have a very special relationship with her. It's a once in a lifetime bond.

I grew up in Whitby, Ontario Canada which is the twin/sister city of Whitby,England. My final year of high school, the school Arranged a trip to England for last year students and 3 of my friends and myself went. We stayed with a billet in Whitby, house was on top of the hill, lovely couple who treated my girlfriend and I like Queens while we stayed with them.Long story short, wanted to tell you that your footage warmed my heart and brought back such wonderful, amazing memories of the time I spent there. We even had a meal with the Whitby Football Club… 😍. Thank you for this. ❤ hope you enjoyed your time there as much as I did.

Best part of today: I'm an art teacher in an elementary school and two 5th grade (10-11 years old) boys, who normally don't want to do much/participate, made collages. It was awesome. Another great vlog.🦷🦷

Hi Lauren! Resting after a colonoscopy today ( all good, again in 5 years). A relief as I am 61 and my dad passed away from colon cancer 24 years ago at 64 from it. Watching you and your mom makes me smile. You’re so lucky to still have your mom and also that she is so sweet and sassy. My mom was born in Liverpool but she moved to the states in the 50s. Your mom reminds me of my mom who I miss so much. I love watching you tour all over London imagining my mom once doing the same thing. Good thing today was a visit from the Duchess of Edinburgh to my workplace. She spent time with each of our clients who all have profound and multiple disabilities. They all felt so special, as did the staff. We're not usually recognised, so this felt really amazing! Whatever people think of the royal family, this was a fantastic boost to morale x

My daughter popped round and had a coffee and we had a chat without the grandbabies - love them to death and have them this weekend. But haven't seen my daughter on her own since school kicked out, they spent a lot of time here this summer which was brilliant. Now they're back at school and I have my daughter back for a while... bliss. Try and move and chill at the same time - lol. You've got this Lauren xxx

At the beginning of Sept I had that exact illness. I live in USA - and it also started with a sore throat - that I blamed on sleeping with the window open.
