What unique nutrient is there in animal flesh that you cannot get from a plant-based diet! I'll give you a little hint all protein originates from plants. But go ahead let's hear your well thought out logical response.

J F We used to eat Brazilian all meat buffets all the time, but we have been eating vegan plant based meat instead for the last 7 years because we could still enjoy the delicious taste and texture of meat without wasting resources to raise animals and the violently kill them! Our health turned around from having high blood pressure, diabetes and arthritis to normal blood pressure and off the pills! The majority of Americans have all these dietary chronic diseases leading to heart attack, if all just ate vegan versions of their food, they’d be spared of the life threatening and deteriorating diseases. Watch Farm to Fridge on KZbin, and Cowspiracy on Netflix to see what I’m talking about. While you’re at it, also watch The Game Changer and What the Health on Netflix as well. Thank me later. Peace!

Sceplecture 1. Meat is the original word for food - meat of the fruit meant the edible parts - I think what you mean is do animals eat other animals - and some do, including the human animal, although it's better if they don't for them and all involved :)
@29sentz4 жыл бұрын
@@sceplecture2382 Yeah, they eat it raw though, like a true meat eater should. Sceplecture, answer these: 1) Do you buy your meat in a supermarket (Stupor-market) on styrofoam trays and wrapped in cellophane?, and 2) Do you cook meat before you eat it? (unlike any other meat-eating animal in history, ever -- since they are smarter than you and preserve all the nutrients, enzymes, vitamins/minerals, fat/protein-structures without bringing in carcinogenic substances and A.G.E.'s which quickly and prematurely age you unnecessarily). Quick being such a "faux" meat-eater and eat it raw already, you fuck. That is, if you're such a "carnivore". And grow your canines out while you're at it, as big as a hippos (oh wait, a hippo is herbivore unless deprived of it's natural foods). And don't walk around on the savanna with a durian fruit, a lion might kill you for it (and not eat you, just the durian).

It's amazing to see a celebrity who is not only not all about themselves but that is drawing attention to the most important issues. Normally celebrities only care about important issues when it suits them, while JP actually lives it. He has such a great message, if only everyone listened.

Massive massive respect for this man, the fact that he overcomes his social anxiety and uses his huge platform to speak up for the innocent beings is such a noble thing to do :)

Sophie Exactly , I am in complete awe of him and even more so because he and his family come from nothing . They had no food or decent shelter but as kids they all clubbed together and worked as an effective team with their parents to bring bread into the home so when these kids started auditioning for parts in adverts and movies they did it with real passion so he KNOWS what struggle is , he understands pain and deep loss after the death of his beloved elder brother River at a very young age and he really does Walk the line . He puts his money where his mouth is . I have and many others have the greatest RESPECT for this incredible human being 🙏🐾♥️

Phoenix is an amazing human being, who tries to do his best for the things he cares about. I respect his opinion and many things he said are right. The issues he mentioned are real and not really about us being vegan or not. We should stop being blind.

Even as an activist myself , I cannot imagine the strength and courage that it takes to speak about such sensitive topic(because people hates vegan) before the people of the world who are mostly non-vegan , and to draw attention of people to animal right on a platform seemingly irrelevant, he is amazing. Ingenious as well. I look up to him.

Sharon P He truly has a strong will and spirit , he made the choice ALONE to go Vegan at the tender age of 3 ❗️after witnessing others fishing and seeing how the fish were being killed along side the boat . What strength of character and intelligence to realise the connection to ALL animals and stand by his decision RESPECT✌🏼

You, Joaquin and Mara are helping to teach, lead and transform humankind into a more compassionate, respectful and just species. I'm praying for your continued channeling of all things, good to those deserving sentient beings however without voice amongst us, as too, for mankind's truly listening to you, learning from you and following suit. In the meantime----while striving to do my part in the world's achieving of yearned for, massive, global call to conscience---- per pragmatic bent, I'm also praying for mankind's ability to create various plant-based, protein comprised "meats" of truly authentic taste, texture and price such that the depraved cravings of the meat-loving masses being satisfied. But a dream, I know; ruminations of one senior, yet, nonetheless, optimistic. However, just imagine, per the fusing of science and creativity, mankind's satisfying of global demand for that otherwise selfish, indulgent, cruel and exploitative per that altruistic, holistic, sustainable and spiritual, I.e., PROFITABLE! Blessings, always.

I’ve admired Mr. Phoenix for decades for his unbridled acting talent, but I have renewed admiration for him as a wonderful human being that took his chance of redemption by the horns and brilliantly shined for millions to see. Bless him and all the other activists out there actually making an impact. My personal dietary choice journey is super hard, but I’ll go pescatarian-vegetarian someday soon (maybe even vegan further down the line).

I hope Earthlings and Dominion bring about a tectonic shift in the way humans treat the non humans. Today, Joaquin Phoenix is a a strong voice for the voiceless, defenceless and trusting non humans. May all the celebrities and influencers come out more in number to save the planet. Thank you 🙏

Someone has to have the guts to tell the truth and stand up for the ones who can't . Some recent videos I have seen about the mistreatment of animals makes me feel ashamed to be a human. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior and cruelty. Money believe me is not going to make you happy, but love will. Thank you for using your star status for doing good.
