J F We used to eat Brazilian all meat buffets all the time, but we have been eating vegan plant based meat instead for the last 7 years because we could still enjoy the delicious taste and texture of meat without wasting resources to raise animals and the violently kill them! Our health turned around from having high blood pressure, diabetes and arthritis to normal blood pressure and off the pills! The majority of Americans have all these dietary chronic diseases leading to heart attack, if all just ate vegan versions of their food, they’d be spared of the life threatening and deteriorating diseases. This is a good thing only if people realize that this discomfort comes from being exposed to a harsh truth which forces them to come to terms with their harmful actions. Sadly, most will shrug it off by saying, "There goes Joaquin again proselytizing about animal rights." But the enlightened few will fully examine the reasons behind their discomfort and find their way towards veganism. If all the food grown for farmed animals was grown for human consumption instead there would be no starving people in the world. There also wouldnt be animal cruelty on an industrial scale. @@MB-kz3ev thanks for your reply MB i know what goes on in the country and woods better than most 3 of my neighbors are small cattle farmers 20-50 head and we get along with them fine. in the summer they pasture them and sometimes calves are born wild and boy do they have fun and are completely protected by their mothers and no issues at all except when the owner tries to catch them. We use too many animals as a commodity with no compassion. Dairy is nothing but a pure luxcery that causes more health issues than the good it does.

Sophie Exactly , I am in complete awe of him and even more so because he and his family come from nothing . They had no food or decent shelter but as kids they all clubbed together and worked as an effective team with their parents to bring bread into the home so when these kids started auditioning for parts in adverts and movies they did it with real passion so he KNOWS what struggle is , he understands pain and deep loss after the death of his beloved elder brother River at a very young age and he really does Walk the line . He puts his money where his mouth is . I have and many others have the greatest RESPECT for this incredible human being 🙏🐾♥️

I'm praying for your continued channeling of all things, good to those deserving sentient beings however without voice amongst us, as too, for mankind's truly listening to you, learning from you and following suit. In the meantime----while striving to do my part in the world's achieving of yearned for, massive, global call to conscience---- per pragmatic bent, I'm also praying for mankind's ability to create various plant-based, protein comprised "meats" of truly authentic taste, texture and price such that the depraved cravings of the meat-loving masses being satisfied. But a dream, I know; ruminations of one senior, yet, nonetheless, optimistic. However, just imagine, per the fusing of science and creativity, mankind's satisfying of global demand for that otherwise selfish, indulgent, cruel and exploitative per that altruistic, holistic, sustainable and spiritual, I.e., PROFITABLE! I’ve admired Mr. Phoenix for decades for his unbridled acting talent, but I have renewed admiration for him as a wonderful human being that took his chance of redemption by the horns and brilliantly shined for millions to see. Bless him and all the other activists out there actually making an impact. My personal dietary choice journey is super hard, but I’ll go pescatarian-vegetarian someday soon (maybe even vegan further down the line).

Someone has to have the guts to tell the truth and stand up for the ones who can't . Some recent videos I have seen about the mistreatment of animals makes me feel ashamed to be a human.
