Stowaway found bathroom-hopping on Delta flight from New York to Paris | LiveNOW from FOX

Authorities are investigating after a Russian national who did not have a ticket boarded a Paris-bound Delta flight at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport this week and was arrested when the plane touched down. Delta Flight 264 took off Tuesday night from Kennedy and landed at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris the next day with a stowaway who had somehow bypassed security, authorities said. Keith Jeffries, former head of security at LAX, joined LiveNOW from FOX to discuss.

The flight attendants whose jump seat was closest to that LAV where she hid needs to be suspended. As a flight attendant myself you ALWAYS CHECK THE LAVS before you even start the screens for the safety demo. Flight attendant 101 you always check the LAV before take off. This could have ended with fatal catastrophe.

If she is in France and she is a Russian citizen what jurisdiction does the USA have at this point ? She would have to be charged by USA courts and have Interpol hold her and then France would have to extradite her .

@@heywhatsthatsmell technically when apprehended at the airport you have not entered that country. They detain the person there then decide if they go back where they came from or prosecuted where they are.

When i went from Las Vegas to san diego not 1 person asked me for a boarding pass. They just wanted my i.d. The tsa never asked me for a ticket The gate never asked me for a ticket just i.d.

I wonder if people are still counterfeiting PTAS to Fly Illegally?? I worked In accounting for an Airline in the 90s. My Job Title FNR and part of my Job was researching PTAs ( prepaid Ticket Advance ) that at that time was a very easy way to get a Free Fraudulent Ticket and travel for Free. You just didn't want to do the return trip that was a little more riskier🤔🤔🤔🤔

Yeah, why would anyone want to fly from New York to Paris in winter?? Hotels are unaffordable there. Where was she going to sleep there? No normal person who can't speak French or has anybody they know there, or enough money, would even consider such a thing. A destination in the Southern hemisphere, where it's summer now, would be more understandable.

Also, nobody wanted to say anything about the passenger until at least more than halfway through the flight. Otherwise they would probably had to turn around and had to delay a flight. Another 12 hours plus.
