I'm neither pro or against Trump. I like policies he has and dislike others. I lean more right then left but it's completely insane to say were blindsided by this virus. We had China doing large scale shutdowns in January. Yes he stopped flights from China towards the end of January but flights from surrounding countries were not restricted. Infected Chinese people fled China to surrounding countries and were free to fly internationally from there. We had Trump at the end of February (while SK and Italy were having outbreaks) and said that everything was taken care of, the response was good enough, and our small number of cases would disappear. There was a lack of testing in the entire country by government agencies that he oversees and it lulled Americans into a false sense of safety. Then he said the reporting on its danger was a dem hoax, while there were international experts warning the world of its danger. People who give two fucks about left vs right. It was a massive failure by China first then our current administration failed identifying the problem early when it was already obvious it was spreading internationally at a staggering rate.
