Liver Cirrhosis एक ऐसी बीमारी है जिसमें किसी इंसान का लिवर सिकुड़ जाता है और कठोर हो जाता है । इसे मेडिकल भाषा में scarring कहा जाता है। इस स्तिथि में लिवर अपना normal काम-काज नही कर पाता और पेशंट्स को कई प्रकार की समस्यायें आ सकती हैं।

१) portal hypertension

५) गफ़लत/ कन्फ़्यूज़न/ मेडिकल कोमा
६) किड्नी में सूजन आना

Are Grade 2 esophageal varices in a liver Cirrhosis patient a risk factor.? Does it indicates that the patient is moving From compensated stage to Decompensated stage of cirrhosis.?

only the presence of esophageal varices does not matter. Upper gi bleeding is an indication of decompensation and that the patient's condition is getting worse. These patients will need early liver transplant
