in defence to the film sets, most get permission to shut streets down by the government, so they do have some kind of control.
@danielgardecki1046 Жыл бұрын
@@James-wm4tt No they don't. Most ask the councils, not the government, as the roads have nothing to do with them, if they can film. The large majority of the time, the roads are not closed at all, especially when they're busy roads. Productions are constantly filming on streets and in buildings within 2 miles of my house, yet there's only 3 or 4 occasions I know of, where roads have actually been closed. Downton Abbey (2019) was one of them, who wouldn't even let the local reporters in, and even went as far as putting up solid screens. They did manage to get some photos of the filming somehow though. Plus there was another one, which might have been Downton Abbey again, however my memory seems to remember it being a few years earlier in a different location half a mile West of the main location, where a security guard thought it was OK to grab the camera of the local newspaper's cameraman, when the street wasn't closed at all. It's on KZbin somewhere, but as I can't remember which production it was, it's very hard to find.

Same here, maybe we should all ask next time a 999 is not answered or patrols are "not available" for different calls exactly what they are doing. Make them accountable. Has the film company paid to use the police as private security as nightclubs, events and football clubs do? If so, why is that money never accounted for or used to pay for officers that can cover their absence instead of leaving existing crews minus a few people and the public at risk. The officer, if he was a real one, should not have been standing around claiming to be busy when there were Grade 1 jobs to go to.

ALL the people you see lying about being homeless in Liverpool DO have homes to go to, paid for by us. Many are petty criminals, known by police, but not moved on as they can't be bothered. The Chief Constable said clearly on the Pete Price Radio City phone-in that they know criminal gangs are controlling people on the streets - they give them drugs in return for collecting money throughout the day. Most live at YMCA hostels and go out early in the morning to set up their pitch outside Tesco, train stations, cash machines etc. They change around during the day too. Drugs are dropped off and money is taken from them, they are set a target and have to get as much as possible or get a beating and no drugs. The local criminals are abusing these addicts and the police do not act. The last time they did, everyone complained at convicting all the drug dealers that were selling the BigIssue. All those fake homeless people WENT HOME during lockdown as there was no one to beg money from. With all the tourists Liverpool gets, the first thing they see is dirty heroin addicts and alcoholics and prostitutes littering the pavements aggressively begging and fighting. The City Council does nothing, the Police do nothing unless there is an event like Eurovision - that's when they went out and cleared the streets to avoid bad publicity. *DO NOT GIVE MONEY TO DRUG ADDICTS LYING ABOUT BEING HOMELESS IN LIVERPOOL* Ask any charity worker, they will tell you people have homes or live in hostels, they are hanging about on the streets BY CHOICE.

Apparently using bleach in a bathroom/toilet to eliminate urine smells is the wrong way. This is because although bleach disinfects, when bleach and urine combine, ammonia is released and the urine smell is exacerbated. Urine and bleach combined also produces a gas called chloramine, because sodium hypochlorite in bleach reacts with the ammonia in urine.

The Film crew probably started setting up about 4 or 5am, the production have paid a lot of money to the council for permission to film on the street. They only have a limited time to get the scene done. What they don't need are members of the public sticking their noses in and filming them when they are trying to work. However that crew member was out of line trying to grab the camera and being insulting, he just escalated the situation.
